Did you know my lovely sponsors Seamstar run a monthly Craft Club? Such a great idea.
Each month, a Craft Club box is sent out to subscribers with a Monthly Makeable kit which includes all the supplies you need to make the featured project. I love this idea! We all know how hard it can be to build up supplies
to make projects, particularly if you are a relatively new crafter -
you see something you love, but have to trek around online or on foot
to pull together the various things you need from different suppliers -
it can be a total pain. Not to mention that sometimes you only need small quantities of fabrics or other materials which can be very hard to source at a reasonable price. So its lovely to get everything you need in one
package through your postbox every month! A little present - to you, from you! I know lots of people buy crafting magazines regularly - honestly (and I don't say this lightly) I think a lovely kit like this is a fab alternative investment of your spending money each month. You get a proper supplies kit with quality materials, plus you learn a practical skill each month.
You can find all the information plus samples of previous Monthly boxes here.
So why am I telling you all this? Well, the Seamstar Craft Club is celebrating its Birthday! They have sent
special Birthday gifts to all existing members and are giving away
over £200 in prizes. They are giving away 16 Craft Club boxes during
May. Each box is worth £12.98 & contains our extra special Patchwork
Cushion. A nice little number of those will be given away by me in the coming weeks! For this week's chance, pop over to my Instagram feed (I am @sewfairyface on IG) where you will find details of how to enter - but hurry, the giveaway closes tomorrow!! You might also want to keep an eye on my Facebook page in coming weeks ;-)
And if you can't wait till then, my followers and Seamstar followers can buy a box for half price during May - just £5 (plus p&p). To redeem this offer, visit http://www.seamstar.co.uk/craft_club.php or phone (0044) (0)1829 770733. The code you need at checkout is: ssCraftClub50
The small print: New customers only. Your Craft Club membership starts with a 1 box half price offer. Cancel at any time during Month 1 and you will not be charged for Month 2 onwards. P&P on box 1 is payable. Offer can be ended at any time.

Welcome Sew Fresh Fabrics!
I'm so pleased to be able to introduce you to a new sponsor here on FairyFace Designs, Sew Fresh Fabrics.
Sew Fresh Fabrics has been around since 2009 and is one of the very first online fabric stores that I bought my fabric from when I started sewing. Besides all the beautiful fabrics, I was constantly amazed by how quickly Peg's packages arrived in Ireland - she would post on a Saturday or Sunday, and I would have it in my hand that Thursday - 4 working days, amazingly fast!
Peg stocks beautiful designer fabrics, a huge selection of organic fabrics, and some fabulous Japanese prints. One of my favourite things about her shop is that she also puts together Kona solid bundles to coordinate with fabric collections. Her latest arrival is Tula Pink's Acacia:
And she has 3 gorgeous bundles of solids to complement it - taking all the guesswork out of choosing the right solids!
Peg has a superb selection of solids in the shop and also had a fantastic section for basics, dots and blenders. But most importantly, she is super lovely to deal with and more than happy to help with order queries.
So pop over and have a look at her shop - or her Etsy shop which is still there also. And make sure to sign up for her newsletter because you don't want to miss out on her regular sales and coupon codes or you'll be kicking yourself!

Welcome Fat Quarter Shop & Giveaway!
I hope that you are all having a lovely weekend! I am delighted to introduce my newest sponsor on FairyFace Designs, Fat Quarter Shop.
I'm sure I don't need to tell most of you what a great fabric shop it is! It has a HUGE selection of fabric - yardage, precut, kits etc, as well as thread, patterns, sewing notions and lots more, including quilt clubs and Block of the Month programs. It has a brilliant sale section too, I always keep an eye on it because sometimes the deals are just amazing - including their specials which you can always find through following them on Twitter or their Facebook page. And in addition to all that, they have a fantastic reputation for service and delivery.
Fat Quarter Shop was founded by Kimberly Jolly back in 2003, and in 10 years it has grown from a small business that she worked on in the evenings and weekends in addition to her day job, to now being a large full time operation employing a number of staff. In addition to selling all that gorgeous fabric, Fat Quarter Shop is also really immersed in the online sewing community with a great blog, the Jolly Jabber. I love reading the interviews with fabric and quilt designers which are regularly on the blog.
At the moment, the Jolly Jabber is hosting a great free sew along to celebrate 10 years of Fat Quarter Shop - The Deck-ade the Halls Quilt Along. Every 2 weeks, a free PDF pattern is uploaded for each section, with an accompanying video tutorial and you will have a completed quilt top by mid-September, giving lots of time to get it quilted and finished in time for the holidays. You'll find all the video tutorials here and if you want to use the gorgeous Aspen Frost fabric that the FQS quilt is made of you'll find it here, including kits for the pattern.
Fat Quarter Shop is offering a great giveaway today, a $25 gift voucher for one lucky winner for the shop! What will you use it for? Maybe some Briar Rose, Nordika or Just My Type? Or something else? Leave a comment and let me know for one entry. For a second entry, follow me over on Facebook or Instagram and leave a comment letting me know you do. This giveaway is open until next Friday morning, 2nd August and I will pick a winner then. If I cannot contact the winner, I will redraw. Thanks so much to Fat Quarter Shop!

Welcome The Intrepid Thread!
I'm really thrilled to welcome The Intrepid Thread as a new sponsor to FairyFace Designs!
I'm sure lots of you are familiar with this great fabric shop, run by the super efficient and lovely Julie, but if not, you need to go explore.
I have been buying fabric from Julie for quite a while now and love dealing with her. She stocks oodles of gorgeous fabrics to tempt me, I can buy yardage or fat quarters, which means I can put together my own FQ bundles (which I LOVE) - and purchases arrive in super quick time, beautifully wrapped with a little note - I just love that personal touch, it makes such a difference when you're buying online. She's brill to answer any questions and the customer service is excellent. This was my most recent purchase - some FQs from Tula Pink's The Birds and the Bees.
The Intrepid Thread is a family business and you can find out a lot more about it here.
You also should go check out some of the lovely fabric Julie has in stock at the moment:
And there is lots and lots of fabulous fabric arriving all the time - I can't wait for Aneela Hoey's Sew Stitchy:
And Bella by Lotta Jansdotter
So, next time you are in need of a fabric fix, you know where to go.....straight over to The Intrepid Thread :-)

Welcome The Sewing Directory!
I'm really thrilled to introduce you to my very first sponsor, The Sewing Directory run by the lovely Fiona Pullen.
I'm sure that lots of you are familiar with this great site - if not, you should definitely pop over and explore it.
Fiona launched The Sewing Directory at The Sewing For Pleasure show in March 2010. The idea for the site came about when she was trying to promote her mum's sewing business online and realised that although there were craft directories and general business directories there was nothing dedicated purely to sewing. Also, someone looking for a sewing supplier or local sewing class can take a long time trawling through search engines, so she decided to bring it all together into one place.
Although the original plan was purely for a directory it quickly evolved into a more rounded site with projects, how to guides, inteverviews, competitions, sewing news, offers, sales and workshop listings too. To get the most from the site it's best to follow it on Facebook and Twitter for extra news, offers and links which aren't on the site.
The Sewing Directory is also running the Sewing Blogger Awards at the moment, with nominations closing on 31st January. If you haven't already voted for your favourite sewing blog (hint, hint!), click on the link above to go register your entry.
The Sewing Directory are also keen sponsors of many sewing blogs, now including mine! So please do pop over to visit them, you won't be sorry :-)
I now have a limited number of sponsorship slots available. If you are interested in sponsoring FairyFace Designs, please contact me at fairyfacedesigns (at) gmail (dot) com
