With Autumn here now and winter soon, we're heading to the highlands to see some beautiful autumnal gardens, before the trees lose all of their leaves.

It is Jack in the Green festival in Hastings this weekend, so we are hoping to go there and see some huge paper mache giants, lots of foresty folk and morris dancers.

These are delicious fabrics, I can imagine many uses for them! This weekend, I'd love to squeeze some sewing in but tomorrow morning I have to take my girls to town so they can buy a birthday gift for their daddy. In the afternoon we have a date in the park and Sunday we're going for lunch at some friends which is wonderful because we are without a kitchen!

This weekend I am having acupuncture in the morning so I can sew, craft and create during the afternoon.

this weekend; working outside on Saturday and cruising in the Solstice on Sunday.
We will be watching my daughter play soccer in the rain Sat & Sun, worshipping with my kids while they play handbells, meeting about VBS, and driving to baseball practice. If no rain, we'll watch my son play baseball. Maybe a little quilting if I can sneak away.

This is a very busy weekend for me. I have to pick up my native plant order first thing Saturday. Then I'm going to a native plant sale. Yes, buying more native plants. Then there's a shop hop at my local fabric store. Chocolatefest in a neighboring town. A garden walk in another local town. And then a hips & knees yoga class which I will certainly need by then. That's just Saturday. Sunday I will be volunteering from 7AM to 5PM at a native plant sale. I'm sure you can see a theme here. I am a fervent environmentalist for using native plants in our gardens to support our local ecosystems. Not much sewing getting done this weekend.

Well my husband has CQ tomorrow so I think my daughter and I will do some thrifting and then pick some strawberries at the farm. Sat night I hope to finish the binding on a customers quilt and start two Monster High upcycle dresses for my friends daughters. And Sunday night ill be watching Game of Thrones and Revenge! :)

This weekend we've got a sleuth of activities. The big ones include walking a 5K as a family on Saturday and then celebrating Boys' Day with my 3 boys (includes hubby). The latter will possibly involve hitting up a local Asian market for some authentic Japanese mochi and making some koinobori flags (aka koi/carp flags).

My husband has all kinds of plans this weekend, including going to movies, organizing a card game tournament, and taking our son to a father son thing at the hardware store. None of it includes me or the girls so I may have to fins something super dooper fun for us while he's away being a nerd. I just don't know what yet!
We are off for a May Day picnic this weekend if the weather holds! There may even be a bit of sparkly wine.

I recently started following your blog, it's great to find a quilting blog this side of 'the pond'. I'm new to all things quilting, having begun quite by accident this year having retired from full time work 2 years ago. I've begun blogging too, the little grey cells need to stay active.
This weekend is a home one; we're moving soon so the house is the priority. I'll find some time for my current most important project though - a playmat for my 4 month old grandson. Block of the moment a textured sheep field.

I'm preparing to quilt a round robin quilt for the Cotton Robin this weekend. I won't be able to share photos for a month or so, but ... this little pieced top is an interesting challenge for me and I can't wait to figure out how to quilt it.

Will be working on a quilt this weekend
It's a stay at home weekend before husband goes on business trip. Hopefully some gardening, quilting and some wine too.
Tonight we are going to the quilt shop to sign up for the new BoM. Tomorrow going to Olive Garden for a late lunch early dinner. Sunday going to church. Inbetween these will be working on stitchery, quilt or machine embroidery.

I get to do anything I want this weekend - it's my birthday weekend! So, mani-pedi today followed by a great dinner out and copious amounts of cake that my lovely daughter has baked! MMMMM! Then I shall sew sew sew!

I am doing not a lot this weekend to be honest. We are going out to an Indian Restaurant to eat with friends tomorrow night and Monday our granddaughter Lily is coming over for sewing lessons on her very own Singer sewing machine and the rest of this weekend I'm sewing on my machine.

This weekend is the annual Kentucky Derby Day supper with our wonderful neighbors. I'm bringing an apple pie, one friend is bringing Mint Juleps and the hosts are the best cooks ever and always surprise us with new delicious dishes. Fun.
